Slow down and savour the time to rest and relax. Lose yourself in the cosy comfort of one of the 20 guest rooms available at Hillyard House. Curl up on the luxury Super King bed while the room fills with the aroma of the freshly brewed coffee flowing from the LOR coffee machine. Recently refurbished in tasteful modern decor, each of our guestrooms have been designed to offer you the highest level of comfort as you rest, relax and recharge in style.
Each room boasts contemporary open-plan furnishings, featuring a dressing table, stool, mirror, storage area for hanging clothes, and table with chairs. TVs, individual LOR coffee machines, air conditioning, and spacious bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay in every room. All rooms are key card operated and include complimentary spring water. A hairdryer is also provided, while an iron and ironing board are available upon request.
All rooms are thoughtfully designed with a contemporary theme, featuring local photography to introduce our guests to the surrounding area. Each guest room boasts a unique shape and size, paying homage to the original building's design and contributing to its distinctive, 'quirky' layout.

A favourite among our guests, the majority of our Classic Double Rooms rooms boast Super King size beds, ensuring a relaxing and restful stay with an edge of luxury! Each en-suite bathroom is distinct in design, yet all provide ample space. Equipped with complimentary Duck Island products and plush towels, every bathroom features a roomy power shower for a rejuvenating experience, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Cosy Double Rooms
Slightly more compact than the standard double room, our Cosy Double rooms still ensure a relaxing and restful stay. Each en-suite bathroom is uniquely shaped yet spacious, providing a luxurious experience. All bathrooms are equipped with the same high-quality amenities and plush towels, as well as a spacious power shower - a rejuvenating way to wake up or for unwinding as the day comes to an end.
Family Rooms
Ideal for a family break, our family rooms sleep up to two adults and two children. They include a luxury Super king bed and a single bed. A fold-up bed for an additional child, available upon request. Each en-suite bathroom is unique in shape, yet spacious, making busy bedtime time routines easier! All bathrooms enjoy a high-quality finish, luxury towels, and a roomy power shower. A mini fridge is provided in all family rooms for your convenience. Freshly brewed coffee from the L'OR coffee machine can be enjoyed as you relax together.
Single Room
Our two single rooms are a perfect cost effective option for business people or solo travellers.
Enjoy a comfy single bed and all the amenities that our other guestrooms enjoy, including a L'OR coffee machine, USB charge points and a modern ensuite bathroom with luxury toiletries and a power shower.
Accessible Room
Our Accessible room is located close to our accessible lift and utilises the same modern interior design as with all our other guestrooms.
The room includes a comfortable Double Sized bed, an L'OR coffee machine and a accessible ensuite bathroom with spacious walk in power shower, hand rails, emergency assist pull cords, and luxury DuckIsland toiletries.
